My MagPul PMAGs are here. So far I like them a lot. Haven't got to use them shooting yet (they just got here today) but they fit in my RRA AR-15 very nicely and drop free even when empty. They seem very sturdy and well made. Used both my LuLa and my fingers to load them up and they load up just fine. Hopefully in a week or two I can get out to the range and do some rifle shooting and see if they function as nicely as they look.

Here's what happens when gamers go a touch to far. Tripp Research is working on 42 and 52 round AR-15 magazines. The thing is they didn't do something cleaver and unique like a Beta magazine that although heavy is rather compact for a 100rd magazine. Tripp just went long and not with a new magazine but simply an "extend base pad" for and existing magazine. Certainly fine for a standing 3-gun stage but impractical in most any other position and definitely not vehicle or MOUT friendly. Don't expect they are looking for a military contract with these, certainly competitive use only.
