So I started the third book in the Old Man's War series, The Last Colony by John Scalzi. The first two chapters have been very entertaining. After putting the book down to go to sleep, for whatever reason, my mine got thinking about books that I have enjoyed so much that I have read them more than twice. There are lots of books that I have read twice. Maybe this is because my reading comprehension is probably below average and it often takes two read for me to comprehend it all. I know the list of books that I have read twice would be rather long and probably incomplete due to me forgetting about some/many of the books. The books that I have read more than twice is much shorter and comprises the books that I not only really like but also ones that I like to revisit. Some books are immensely entertain the first time through but a second read does not make them better. The books on this list are one that when I finish reading them invariably for days to several weeks after I find myself missing one character or another as if a friend died or moved away.

Anyway if your incline, post your list of books you have read more than twice. Here's mine:

The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien
Neuromancer by William Gibson
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
The Sword and the Dagger by Ardath Mayhar
Decision at Thunder Rift by Jr., William H. Keith
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary
The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
Most if not all of the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Alien vs Predator (graphic novel) by Randy Stradley, Chris Warner, and Phill Norwood and the Novelization: Aliens vs Predator: Prey by Steve Perry and Stephani Perry

Yesterday was GFWTR and my eighth wedding anniversary. It was celebrated with a quite night out to a very nice restaurant while one of the grandma's watched Abby. It's hard to believe that its been eight years already. I am lucky she puts up with me and a stronger person with her support.

Other than a very cursory eye exam with my physical for a co-op job at GE and when I was on the varsity fencing team I have never had a real eye exam. I had my first this morning. I am happy to say my vision is 20/20 and my eyes are very healthy. I am still red-green color blind, but I didn't expect that to change. The eye exam was pretty cool all in all. The technician and doctor checked a lot of various things. The glaucoma exam, where they gently poke your eye ball was pretty neat. The drops to dilate you eyes for the exam didn't seem to do too much. The techinician said they would make my vision a little blurry for a while after the exam but I really could not tell a change. The drops for the glaucoma exam on the other hand made my eyes numb and that felt really weird. Won't need another one for three years if all goes well.

Use the 1st letter of your name to answer each of the following questions. They have to be real places, names and/or objects, but nothing made up! Try to use different answers if the person you got this from has the same 1st initial. You CAN'T use your name for the boy/girl name question. And Have Fun With It!!!
